He then worked in polymer research for a chemical company for seven years.

However, the desire to become engaged in the animal care field led him to enroll in St. George's University's School of Veterinary Medicine and then complete his clinical training at The University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2005, Dr. Singh received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He then performed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in San Diego, California in general surgery and medicine. Brooke Goff, DVM

Dr. Brooke Goff, a longtime Carlsbad resident, is very pleased to become part of the Aviara Animal Health Center team starting in October, 2020. As a General Practitioner, Dr. Goff values the opportunity to serve families in the community by providing compassionate, individualized care for every pet.

During her college years at UCLA as a marine biology major, Dr. Goff worked at an animal hospital in Santa Monica as a receptionist and assistant. Her love for “L’art du veterinaire” was solidified when she spent the summer working in Corsica, France as a veterinary assistant. She will never forget her UCLA field quarter for marine biology performing research in Hawaii and French Polynesia, particularly the pod of military dolphins living just offshore of student housing.

Dr. Goff graduated from UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 in the top 5% of her class. During vet school she participated in caring for newborn foals and livestock, did an externship at Orange County Animal Control, and ran the student feeding program for Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Her first years of general practice were spent in a rural area north of Sacramento, until she relocated to beautiful Carlsbad in 2005.

Dr. Brooke Goff especially enjoys dermatology/allergy management, soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, and preventative care for all stages of your pet’s life. She looks forward to building relationships that empower owners to make educated decisions about their pet’s medical care. Dr. Goff is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and holds APHIS (United States Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) accreditation.

When she is not busy with work or caring for her three lovely children, Dr. Goff can be found at the beach, hiking Calavera, or curled up with a good book. She is the proud owner of two gorgeous ragdoll cats, Matthew and Jessica.
